Scenario 2: Business Integration-Commercialization
Initiated and managed a business integration project for transforming one of the largest government-owned banks in China to a market-driven commercial banking entity. The engagement was driven by a diagnostic review of four components: organization and management; financial position and performance; information technology strategy; and human resource management. The diagnostic review yielded a prioritized and integrated implementation approach that included: the charter and business plan; approach to governance practices; creation of a leadership center for excellence; human resource management practices; and defined processes and controls for achieving financial stability. The result was the creation of a highly successful financial services institution with over 300,000 employees.
