Mark F. Paulson
Sr.
Mr. Paulson has served as a principal and partner at three international consulting firms (Arthur Young, A. T. Kearney, and Accenture). At Accenture, he was the Global Managing Partner for the Organization Design and Development practice and was a member of their Global Change Management Board. He has led and participated in assignments throughout the United States and in numerous foreign countries. His client roster includes Fortune 500, middle market, start-up, and non-profit organizations.
He has experience in several industries, including: telecommunications, hospitality (hotels and restaurants), retailing, manufacturing, health care, chemicals, computer technology, financial services, and government. He is recognized for his expertise is several areas, including: executive assessment and alignment, executive coaching, organizational strategy and design, cultural change, organizational effectiveness and efficiency, and program and performance management.
Mr. Paulson has been a thought leader on organizational issues. He has led numerous research studies, including a groundbreaking study on Capacity to Change (why some companies consistently do it well and others routinely struggle). He is an author and is routinely quoted in business and trade publications.
He also teaches Business Strategy at the Lake Forest Graduate School of Management. He has an MBA from the University of Chicago, where he specialized in Accounting and concentrated in Finance, and an undergraduate degree from the University of Wisconsin.
Mr. Paulson resides in Chicago.
