Mark is a graduate from the University of Iowa, where he received
a Bachelor of Business Administration in Business Management and a
Certificate in Entrepreneurship. Under the aegis of the University,
Mark assisted start-up companies in developing their business plans.
As an example, he assisted a start-up products company in creating
brand and service strategies and in improving the effectiveness of
their sales organization. The project resulted in a new brand name,
and a list of numerous niche markets in which the products should
be targeted.
During his college career, Mark successfully founded a nationally
recognized fraternity (Alpha Tau Omega), participated in intercollegiate
sports as a member of the crew team, and was a member of the American
Marketing Association.
Prior to joining Bridge Avenue Partners, he was a management trainee
with an international rental car company. In that role, he was responsible
for defining marketing and sales strategies and for customer service
within his territory.
At Bridge Avenue Partners, Mark is responsible for conducting research
for client assignments, assisting on client assignments, for developing
the firm’s knowledge management system, and for managing the
firm’s technology infrastructure and web site development.
